Welcome to Pawsome Care at Aunty Lizzy's
Where your precious pup will be loved and made to feel safe and secure in my home while you are away from home.

What We Offer
At Pawsome Care at Aunty Lizzy’s, I understand that your dog is part of your family — and that’s exactly how they’ll be treated here.
I offer boutique-style, in-home dog boarding in a safe, calm, and loving environment. Whether your pup is staying for a weekend or a few weeks, they’ll enjoy personalised care, plenty of cuddles, and a daily routine that feels just like home.
Your dog will:
-
Have full access to my home and two secure outdoor areas (front garden and synthetic grass yard)
-
Be welcomed indoors to sleep, just like my own dogs, Bella and Joy
-
Enjoy daily walks to nearby reserves or along the Lake Illawarra path, with beach outings for longer stays
-
Be in safe hands — I’m fully insured, Pet First Aid certified, and home full-time
I only accept a small number of guest dogs at a time (up to four) so I can give each one plenty of attention. Before booking, I arrange a free Meet and Greet so you can see my space, ask any questions, and ensure we’re the right fit for your dog.
Located in Wollongong, just minutes from Lake Illawarra.
A little bit about me

Why I started Pawsome Care at Aunty Lizzy's
Dogs have always been a constant in my life, from cheeky puppies to gentle old souls and resilient rescues. I’ve snuck dogs into workplaces (despite the rules!), dog-sat for just about everyone I know, and poured love into every pup who’s crossed my path.
After being made redundant and spending some time reassessing what truly mattered, a good friend of mine asked me to care for their beautiful Maggie after surgery. That simple act of trust was the spark I needed. It reminded me of what I love most — caring for dogs like they’re part of the family.
That moment gave me the confidence to start Pawsome Care at Aunty Lizzy’s — a boutique, in-home dog boarding service based in Wollongong. It’s not a big business. It’s just me, my two girls Bella and Joy, and a few guest pups at a time, enjoying a calm, cosy home with lots of cuddles, company, and fresh air.
Every dog that stays here becomes part of our little pack, and every family that trusts me with their pup is at the heart of what I’ve built.

Frequently Asked Questions
I'm in Wollongong (Lake Heights) - on the South Coast of NSW
I welcome dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages — from playful puppies to gentle seniors — as long as they’re friendly, social, and comfortable in a home environment.
I keep things small and personal — usually no more than 3–4 guest dogs at a time, so everyone gets plenty of attention.
Yes — I require a no-obligation Meet and Greet before any new booking. It’s a chance for both of us to ask questions, get a feel for the fit, and make sure your dog is comfortable in my home environment.
Dogs have access to both inside and a secure backyard. All dogs are allowed to sleep indoors, and I do my best to match their usual routine — whether that’s on a bed or in a crate.
My main focus is overnight boarding, but I do offer occasional day stays for dogs who are settled, social, and happy in a home environment.
While I don’t operate as a doggy day care, dogs enjoy a calm day with company, enrichment, and a walk — just like one of the family.
Please bring enough food for the whole stay (plus a little extra, just in case), any medications, your dog’s bedding, and any favourite toys, treats or comfort items.
Keeping familiar things around helps your dog settle in and feel at home.
Yes — I’m experienced with giving medication orally, topically, and by injection. Just let me know your dog’s needs in advance so we can make a plan that’s safe and stress-free.
Yes — all dogs must be desexed (unless they’re puppies), up to date with their vaccinations, and regularly treated for fleas and worms. This helps keep everyone safe, healthy, and happy during their stay.
If your dog becomes unwell, I’ll contact you straight away and aim to take them to your regular vet. In an emergency, I’ll go to the nearest emergency vet first and keep you updated.
Any vet costs will be at your expense, so please make sure I have your preferred vet details and any relevant instructions before the stay.
